Love Island star Kem Cetinay didn't exactly get off to a flying start in the Masterchef kitchen.
In fact his first dish which was poached pineapple, was so disastrous fans rushed to Twitter to call-out Kem's management team for allowing him to appear on the cooking programme.
Viewers were more concerned that the reality star, 25, owned a swanky Essex restaurant called Array, when he couldn't cook.
One person penned: "Kem's dish and he has a restaurant in Essex called ARRAY#hmmveryinteresting #CelebrityMasterChef."
Another wrote: "The staff in your restaurant would be embarrassed of you Kem#CelebrityMasterChef."
A third added: "#CelebrityMasterChef Kem publicising his stupidity. A Turkish restaurant owner from Turkey with no clue."
While a fourth said: "Whoever thought it was a good idea to let a restaurant owner go on #CelebrityMasterChef with no food knowledge should be sacked lol."
Meanwhile, Kem seemed to strike lucky when one of the challenges seemed to go in his favour.
The celebrities were asked to guess and then recreate a Turkish dish – feta and potato stuffed bread.
However, of all the stars in the competition Kem was the only one to use the wrong ingredient when making his dough.
Instead of adding Greek yoghurt to the mix, the ITV star opted for cream and completely ruined his first batch.
Luckily, other stars such as Michelle Collins from Eastenders were on-hand to point him in the right direction.
Kem had fallen behind with the task but somehow managed to pull it back – and served up the best bread of all the contestants.
As host's Greg Wallace and John Torode discussed the entire group, they were more impressed with how quickly he'd picked up new skills.
Impressed John added: "Kem seems to be learning very very fast.
The restaurant owner seemed to dodge a bullet this time and was saved by the judges who opted to send soap star Michelle home instead.
