Snippets showed Meghan interacting with fans and taking snaps with people who would come up to her in the street before it was revealed that she was dating Prince Harry.
Meghan's former personal assistant, Chantelle Humphrey, explained that Meghan had a "beautiful life" and "so much freedom" when she was an actress on the show.
She said: "It really did take a dark turn quickly."
Silver Tree, Meghan's friend and producer of Suits added: "There is like a baked-in level of curiosity and opinion, dealing with royals, that I have not seen before.
"The paparazzi started coming out to try and get eyes on here. There people trying to buy call sheets from production assistants on our show so they could find out when she was shooting."
Silver explained that it soon became worse as "there were people breaking into the area where the trailers are", to try and get photos of her.
She added that it "started to feel dangerous" for her and after needing to "cage in" the trailers, things became "really challenging".
Security added that Meghan would need to be brought round the back of the house and through the garage after she called the police following claims of stalking from paparazzi.
Meghan claimed the police in Toronto told her there was "nothing they could do" because of who she was dating, but she said things soon changed when she received a death threat.
After a long time of dealing with the struggles on set, it was revealed she would be wrapping up her time on the show ahead of her royal wedding.
She bid farewell to her character for the season 7 finale as her character, Rachel Zane, married her love interest on the show Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams).
She stepped away from acting to focus on royal duties but has since taken on roles with Netflix.
