NCIS’ Abby Sciuto (played by Pauley Perrette) may have been absent from the CBS drama since 2018, but it hasn’t stopped fans from keeping up to date with the star off-camera. Since departing the series and making a brief return to the US network in the sitcom Broke, Perrette has been regularly keeping her fans put o date with current goings-on via her Twitter page.
But this week, the star had some sad news as she took to social media to pay tribute to a close friend.
Fashion designer Terri King passed away earlier this week and Perrette shared a heartfelt post to her 707.4k followers.
Perrette shared a number of snaps of herself in some of King’s designs as well as a smiley snap with the designer herself.
The former NCIS star began: “So sad to hear of the passing of our beloved @TheTerriKing.”
She continued: “Designer to the Rock Stars (and me).
“Her beautiful, bright light is unmatched. She was here to spread kindness and good.
“These are my Grammy and Peoples Choice Awards dresses she made. #TerriKing #Angel.”
Among the snaps was a photo of Perrette and King during their time collaborating for the NOH8 Campaign from the noughties.
The duo, along with a number of other famous faces, came together to work for the equality charity.
Its mission statement read: “The NOH8 Campaign is a charitable organisation whose mission is to promote marriage, gender and human equality through education, advocacy, social media, and visual protest.”
All of these are issues held close to Perrette’s heart and the actor has spent much of her career campaigning for equal rights.
And following her touching tribute, a number of Perrette’s followers weighed in with condolences of their own.
