Season 4 of Netflix's 'Queer Eye' Premieres on July 19 and Fans Are Already Crying
The Fab Five are back in a trailer and fans are freaking out. Now in the shows fourth season, Queer Eye features a new cast of heroes, including Jonathan Van Ness’ former teacher. Since the premiere of the third season of Netflix’s Queer Eye, the Fab Five sure kept themselves busy. Tan France released his book, Naturally Tan. Antoni Porowski got a makeover from RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant, Miz Cracker. Jonathan Van Ness became the first male ambassador for Essie, later coming out as nonbinary.
Now, the boys are back on Netflix with the fourth season of their original series, Queer Eye. The season doesn’t premiere until July 19, but fans are already excited to meet the new heroes.

The show made a name for itself by “making better” heroes from across the country, from Mama Tammye’s church to Georgia’s Covington Fire Department. This season might even hit closer to home for some members of the Fab Five. In the preview for the series, fans saw Jonathan Van Ness extend a makeover opportunity to his former teacher.
“You have literally saved people’s lives — mine included,” Van Ness said, through his tears. That’s just the beginning.
Although this episode of Queer Eye is set in Illinois, the remainder of season 4 will take place surrounding Kansas City, Missouri. Netflix has not confirmed how many episodes will be included in this season. H
‘Queer Eye’ fans are freaking out on Twitter
The trailer for Queer Eye’s fourth season premiered on July 8, 2019. Within a few hours, the clips on Instagram and Twitter earned thousands of views. Some fans tweeted their love for the series and their excitement for the new season.
“Yes please,” said one Twitter user, responding to the trailer. “Always love getting new episodes when I’m in a transitional part of my life, it’s the exact motivation I need.”
Even though the caption said “try not to cry,” a few fans couldn’t help themselves. With emotional clips of Karamo giving advice and Jonathan speaking to his teacher, fans lost it.
“Try not to cry challenge already lost. I am so glad to live in the same time in the same world as you guys,” said one Twitter user. “You brighten up the entire world.”
“Yas, I can’t wait to cry my way through another season in one day and then make everyone in my house watch an episode or five while still crying and preaching about how Queer Eye should be required viewing,” said another Twitter user.
