Loose Women's Denise Welch and Gloria Hunniford have had another tense on-air row over a disagreement about Freedom Day.
The ITV show's co-stars have butted heads a number of times over their clashing views on how quickly reopening should happen as coronavirus restrictions ease, and in Tuesday's show they had a run-in over their opinions again.
As they debated Prime Minister Boris Johnson's plans for dropping restrictions on July 19 which were announced on Monday, actor Denise told how she had just received the news that yet again, she wouldn't be able to visit her sick dad in hospital.
She said: "I come to the show today having heard only 10 minutes before we came on air that my dear dad who is now in his 14th week in hospital and is now in a sort of community hospital which is much smaller.
"We've just heard that the NHS Trust in the North East have just stopped visiting again. I was talking to one of the nurses and she's really, really upset because she doesn't want it to happen, there is no Covid in my dad's hospital.
"I am at the point now where I think what does my double jab mean? What does it mean if my dad is double jabbed and I am double jabbed? If we are going to live with Covid, surely now is the time to live with it while there is 50 cases a day."
Denise, who has spoken passionately about wanting to drop restrictions on visiting and gathering in groups a number of times, added that nothing would be changing at ITV for Loose Women, either.
She said: "Every single company I work with or am employed by are not changing anything. The company I'm in here which have all made it possible for us to work and I'm very grateful, they're not changing anything on July 19."
But Gloria waded in to give a different view as she asked her co-star to "stop and take a breath".
She argued: "Companies do have the right to decide the best policy going forward."
Denise snapped: "So when does it end, Gloria?"
Gloria replied: "No hang on, just let me say, this is such a new thing and nobody knows how it's going to progress.
"Personally I'm very glad to have a bit of freedom. I'm very glad for you because it's been your issue for a while to have extra freedom. But at the same time we have to move forward with caution."
However, Denise told her: "July 19 doesn't personally change things for me, if I was very selfish it wouldn't actually matter to me."
Gloria replied: "Well it does for other people!"
As they continued to bicker over the relevance of the number of Covid cases, Denise also complained about NHS managers and bureaucracy.
Panellist Janet Street-Porter tried to agree with her, but as Denise talked over the top of her she took a swipe at another Loose Women star who wasn't on Tuesday's show.
Janet told her: "Darling, you're not Penny Lancaster so I would like to get a word in."
