Spoilers: Mick is broken as Frankie returns to cut contact in EastEnders

Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) was left devastated in EastEnders tonight (November 3), as Frankie Lewis (Rose Ayling-Ellis) returned and informed him that she doesn’t want any contact with him.

Mick was left in utter shock when Frankie revealed that she’s his daughter.

The former pub landlord was adamant that such a thing was impossible, but when he discovered that her mother is Katy Lewis (Simone Lahbib), he was horrified.

Katy was Mick’s care-worker, which ultimately means that she abused him.

In the wake of such a discovery, Frankie’s life fell apart, and therefore she left Walford.

Mick has attempted to come to terms with his discovery, all the while trying to hunt down Frankie.

The young woman returned in tonight’s episode, and she revealed that she doesn’t want any contact with him, all the while encouraging him to stop thinking about her — claiming that this might allow them both to return to the life they had previously.

Mick attempted to do so by wooing Linda (Kellie Bright), but when that didn’t exactly go according to plan, he felt upset once more.

Will Mick open up about what he’s going through?

EastEnders continues Tuesday November 3 at 7:35pm on BBC One.
