Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood took a swipe at fellow judge Anton Du Beke during one of the dances this Saturday. Soap star Katie McGlynn performed a fast-paced jive with her partner Gorka Marquez, and fans loved the performance. But Craig picked up on some mistakes that Anton missed.

When giving his scores, Anton commented: “Lucky for you I didn’t notice any mistakes, I was probably jotting something down.

“I enjoyed the performance, I enjoyed your acting, obviously, you’re a fine actress.”

However, Craig swiped back at Anton, saying: “You need to keep a watchful eye darling, a little note for Anton.”

The crowd then booed and tensions rose between the judging panel.

Craig continued: “There was no retraction, it was all stompy, you have to have stamina and you were flagging by the end.”

After his critique, Tess said: “I think we have found our baddy for movie week.”

As for who is predicted to leave the competition first, actor Greg Wise is predicted to face the first elimination.

According to Ladbrokes, 53 per cent of all elimination bets over the past week have been in favour of Greg leaving, at odds of 7/1.

Next in line are Ugo Monye and Sara Davies, both with odds of 5/2.

Rugby star Ugo was partnered with Oti Mabuse, which could mean the professional is out of luck for a hat trick win this year.

Dragons’ Den star Sara was partnered with Aljaž Škorjanec and on Instagram, she said: “So here’s us last Saturday doing the ChaChaCha – I absolutely loved every minute of it.

“This week is something completely different and I can’t wait for you to see our foxtrot!

“I’ve realised this week that I’m definitely a ballroom girl and I just want to go out there tonight and dance my little heart out and just make my family and Aljaz and everyone else proud.

“It’s a big day today and I can’t wait to live it!”

This week marks the show’s first official elimination week, with one of the couples set to leave the competition on Sunday night.

McFly star Tom Fletcher has been unable to take part this week, as he tested positive for Covid and is currently self-isolating.

He will return with his partner Amy Dowden next time, for week three.

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One on Sunday.
