Strictly’s Michelle Visage sparks injury fears with knee brace before live show

Strictly Come Dancing star Michelle Visage has sparked fears she's nursing a secret injury after she was spotted wearing a knee brace before tonight's live show.

The series gets underway properly tonight as the contestants take to the dance floor to perform their routines for the first time.

Michelle, 51, is due to open the show, but there are now fears she's struggling with knee problems.

She was spotted with a support on her right leg during a day out at a park in London with fellow contestant Alex Scott on Thursday.

The US telly star looked to be in pain as she put weight on her right foot.

If she's picked up an injury, it could mark a second disaster for the show after reality star Jamie Laing pulled out after hurting his foot.

The Made in Chelsea star currently has his foot in a cast and is on crutches, while it will take around eight weeks for the injury to heel.

During a performance with the other celebrities and the professional dancers, shown on earlier this month, the star felt a sharp pain like "stepping on glass" rush through his foot.

It was revealed he'd sustained a "nasty tear" in a ligament in his foot, with four specialists confirming he would not be able to perform.

Speaking on This Morning in his first TV interview since his exit from the BBC series, Jamie, who has been replaced by Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher, revealed he wasn't sure if he'd ever be able to do the series again.

He explained: "I don’t know. [The injury is] not a long standing thing, it's more that it's one of those shows that everyone wants to do.

"Everyone wants to be a part of it, and my time was then and my journey didn’t go to plan."
