The Real Housewives franchise is expanding into new territory and claiming Dubai as its next city. Although the format has been done in other international cities, this is the first time Bravo is developing the franchise outside of the United States. Cohen added, “We have a great group of friends. This is going to blow the lid off of the entire franchise.”

“Everything’s bigger in Dubai, and I couldn’t be more excited to launch Bravo’s first international Housewives series in a city I’ve been fascinated by for years, with an outstanding group of friends as our guides,” executive producer Cohen said in an official statement from the network.

The press release also said that the series will highlight “a group of women navigating their relationships, careers, and supremely lavish and ultra-wealthy lifestyles in the United Arab Emirates.”
