The Voice Kids UK has crowned Torrin as its winner after the 14-year-old performed a stunning rendition of Auld Lang Syne in the final.

The grand finale of the ITV talent show aired on Wednesday (December 29) – and it saw 16 finalists battle it out in the hopes of winning the top prize.

Torrin, who was mentored by Spice Girls singer Mel C, was one of four remaining finalists competing for first place – alongside Savannah, Aishling and Leo.

The winner was chosen by a virtual studio audience – who voted for their champion at the end of the show.

Each of the young singers were aged 7 to 14, and the finalists were split into four groups led by each judge.

The show, which is a spin-off of The Voice UK, returned for a special three-part season which began on Monday (December 27).

Big Brother presenter Emma Willis was back at the helm to host the show.

This year's judges were McFly star Danny Jones, pop star Pixie Lott, and Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am.

Spice Girl Mel C also took to the judging panel to replace singer Paloma Faith – who dropped out after announcing she was pregnant with her second baby.

Pixie Lott won the show last year, and she was delighted that Melanie was joining the judging team as she is a huge Spice Girls fan.

She said: "I am the biggest Spice Girls fan, they were the first concert I ever went to, so it's such a thrill to have Melanie C joining the show too, upping the level of girl power even more!"
