TOWIE’s Chloe Sims bursts into tears as Pete Wicks unveils his tattoo tribute to her
Chloe Sims was left in tears on Sunday's episode of The Only Way Is Essex after Pete Wicks sweetly unveiled his tattoo tribute to her in honour of her 40th birthday.
During the episode, Pete, 33, revealed that he wasn't able to make her birthday party as he took her out for a lavish meal at a "really cute" restaurant, which he specifically picked just for Chloe, 40.
He said: "In all seriousness, as much as I take the p**s, I am gutted I am not going to be there for your birthday because I know that it does mean a lot to you.
"I didn’t really know what to get you for your birthday either… I wanted to do something that would signify that you are irreplaceable to me."
With Chloe replying: "That's a big word, Pete!" to which Pete added: "Well, you are irreplaceable to me!
"So… I might have got like a tattoo, on my hand."
Pete then showed off the inking on his hand, which sweetly had Chloe's name, with the reality star left emotional over the gift.
Chloe exclaimed: "Oh my God! How have I not noticed that? Oh my God! That is so nice!"
Pete continued: "The point of that is, you do mean everything to me and for anyone else who thinks that I don't, or for anyone that you feel I've not justified this to, I do love you to bits – whether I'm in the country or not."
Chloe then burst into tears over the gesture as she put her napkin over her face with Pete commenting: "Don't cry, babe!
"I do love you to bits, you know that, and I would be lost without you."
An emotional Chloe replied: "It's the most thoughtful and nicest thing anyone has ever done."
Speaking about how special the inking is, Pete explained: "The only people i have got tattoos of on my hand are my mum, my nan and you… the three most important women in my life.
"Happy birthday, happy 40th and I'm sorry I'm going to be there!"
Pete then joked that the place where he had the inking have a slot for Chloe to get "Pete" tattooed, to which she quipped: "No chance!"
It comes after Chloe and Pete were looking close again recently after they were pictured arm-in-arm when leaving the National Television Awards in September.
And after TOWIE favourite Pete, 32, said he and Chloe "are good as gold" after breaking up last year following a secret on-and-off romance for two years, the-mum-of one has hinted her former flame was "right person wrong time".
It comes after Chloe shared a TikTok of her and Pete having a laugh on a driving arcade machine together, and the star wrote: "Recreating my first time on Pete’s motorbike.”
Despite the pair openly saying they are now "just friends", fans quickly gushed over the pair saying they wished they would get back together, with one writing: "You two are made for each other. If he's still denying that then he's a complete muppet!"
"Just get back together and make us all happy," another commented underneath.
However, one then weighed in with the words: "I do feel like u r both right person wrong time!!
"The chemistry is insane but I’m so happy You have your friendship back. Love u both on Towie xx," they added to their comment, which Chloe liked herself.

Chloe and Pete first left fans in shock when they confirmed their secret two-year romance last September after being friends for years on the show.
However, things turned sour for the pair on the Christmas finale as Pete refused to commit to the blonde beauty and had a major falling out when they broke up.
While the former couple didn't speak for months following their split, Pete says they have now patched things up again as friends.
