Tristan Thompson loses $750K on lakeside Cleveland home he shared with Khloe Kardashian as it sells below asking price
TRISTAN Thompson officially offloaded the Cleveland lakeside home he shared with Khloe Kardashian – which has sold for $750k below the asking price, The Sun can exclusively reveal.
The pro basketball star, who signed with the Boston Celtics after almost nine years with the Cleveland Cavaliers, bought the home for $1.9million in 2015 and it sold this month for $2.5million.
But despite making a $600k profit, he lost out on raking in more than a million after putting the house up for sale for $3.25million back in December last year.
Sitting at the end of an exclusive gated community away from prying eyes, the 6,242 square foot residence offers five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
Photographs exclusively obtained by The Sun show the stunning abode where the couple hid away during Khloe's pregnancy with daughter True.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star announced on Instagram last month that her and on/off beau Tristan were officially moving out of the house in Bratenahl, Ohio.
“I am in Cleveland packing up the Cleveland house, and this will be goodbye,” she told fans.
Khloe then added: "I will miss this view so much. There’s literally nothing like it," as she looked out over Lake Erie.
She gave fans a tour of the home during a recent episode of KUWTK, and revealed the tropical fish tank will be kept by new owners, after they took it on from the previous residents.
Khloe also told viewers how she was sad to leave True's old bedroom, where she spent the first months of her life.
The property, which officially sold on April 1, is described online as an "impeccable waterfront home that offers every luxury and upgrade imaginable."
It boasts walls of glass to capture the breathtaking view in every room, and a modern kitchen with top-of-the-range appliances.
Tristan and Khloe's former home includes an owners wing with a private balcony, glamour bathroom, and walk-in closet for designer garments.
The second floor offers a further two bedrooms plus an in-law suite with full kitchen and private entrance, where Khloe's mom Kris Jenner is likely to have stayed on her visits to see the couple and their daughter.
If that wasn't enough, there is also a guest suite on the third floor with an office overlooking the glistening water below.
Khloe and Tristan hosted many gatherings at the home, which is fully equipped with a billiards table, poker area, bar, giant wine cellar and theater to watch movies.
The Good American founder, who recently received backlash for trying to recall an unedited photo of herself on Instagram this month, also used to work out in the home's luxury gym.
While Khloe still has her abode in Hidden Hills, Tristan owns a home in Encino, which he listed for sale for $8.5million last summer.
Although the house was pulled off the market earlier this year, a real estate source told The Sun they are still showing the property and accepting new offers.
Khloe sparked rumors she's engaged to the basketball player recently after they built bridges following his many cheating scandals.
The 36-year-old and Tristan, 29, reportedly got back together after quarantining for months during the pandemic with their daughter.
The mom posted a photo of her hand on her booty last month, as she donned a thong and boots to promote her Good American line.
But all fans could notice was the massive diamond rock, with one asking: "Is that an engagement ring ?."
However, a source claimed to Page Six that the famous duo are not engaged to be married, as Khloe has "always had the rock."
Although an engagement ring wouldn’t be surprising, as the back-on couple have talked about expanding their family in an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Khloe admitted: "True is getting older and I feel like it’s now time to have another kid."
Tristan, who is also father to son Prince with ex Jordan Craig, responded: "That’s what I like to hear!"
Khloe said in a confessional: "I have been thinking about wanting another kid for quite some time now. I already have a head start on that. I started the process a couple of months ago when I froze my eggs.
"I think I’m ready to do the whole pregnancy thing again. This process might take time. Start the process at least be prepared."
