S.W.A.T season three made its debut on CBS back in 2017 and season four has just come to an end. The series is also available to watch in the UK on Netflix, but only two seasons have been made available. Fans are keen to know when the third season will be arriving on Netflix in the UK.

When is SWAT season 3 coming to Netflix?

S.W.A.T is a long-running drama series on CBS based on the 70s series of the same name by Robert Hamner.

The fourth season started airing in the US in November 2020, with the fifth season already confirmed.

Fans in the UK are keen to catch up, but only two seasons have been added to Netflix so far.

The first two seasons were added in May 2021, but the third season is not expected to arrive until 2022.

This is according to knowinsiders.com, who said: “Although we don’t know how many seasons of the series are coming to Netflix, our guess is that it’ll be seasons 1-3 which is the same number of seasons available on Netflix rival, NowTV. New seasons will likely come every year thereafter.”

With this in mind, there is another way for fans to watch S.W.A.T season three in the meantime.

They can catch up on the streaming service NOW, and the series can be accessed as part of the entertainment membership.

The NOW website says seasons one to three will be available to watch until March 28, 2022.

This suggests the third season may not be added to Netflix until after the season has left NOW.

Fans have taken to social media to share their thoughts on the season so far.

One said: “SWAT on Netflix is actually decent! I’m pleasantly surprised!”

Another added: “Massive vouch for the series SWAT on Netflix, so sick.”

Meanwhile, a third said: “Swat is the best thing to be added to Netflix in ages man. Unreal viewing.”

They are already calling for the next two seasons to be added to the streaming platform, only a few weeks after seasons one and two arriving.

Another viewer said: “Just finished watching season 1-2 of #Swat on Netflix uk need season 3 hurry up and show it please.”

The series follows Sergeant Hondo Harrelson (played by Shemar Moore) who is team leader at the LAPD.

His job is to build a bridge between the force and the community, as tensions have been rising.

The series is known for touching on the real-life tensions between the police and the African-American community.

Part of season three was filmed back in early 2020, and production was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The third season concluded in the US on CBS on May 20, 2020.

Hopefully viewers in the UK will have access to the third season early next year.

Another fan said on Twitter: “Wait if the USA are on season 5 of SWAT @shemarmoore Then @netflix you have to catch up here!

“Only 2 seasons and I’ve watched them all in 3 days. #SWAT we need more seasons.”

The show forms part of a shared universe with the FX crime drama The Shield, which Shawn Ryan created.

SWAT seasons 1 and 2 are on Netflix now.
